José Parlá

Sometimes I find website landing pages annoying and useless. I just want to go right in and dig into the content but every once in a while I come across a website with a land page image that makes sense. This is the case with artist José Parlá’s site. His site begins with a collage of paint scared tins, inked markers, frayed paint brushes, rusted spray cans and a number of indefinable objects. This is one of the most amazing landing page images I’ve ever come across. It’s of those well thought out images only some artists can figure out. José Parlá’s work is incredible and is immediately felt upon entering his site.

José Parlá is currently being exhibited at the 222 Gallery.
