Wooster Collective Presents: Wooster on Spring
This is perhaps the largest collection of street arts in a single spot of New York City. Starting today until Sunday, December 17th, the century old building on 11 Spring Street will open to the public for the first time with the exhibition “Wooster on Spring”. Curated and organized by none other than the talented Marc and Sara of Wooster Collective, and the generosity of developers Caroline Cummings and Bill Elias, over 45 (and counting) artists will exhibit their works. Featuring Doze Green, Shepard Fairey, WK, Swoon, FAILE, Lady Pink, London Police, BAST, Borf, The Graffiti Research Lab, Kostas Seremetis, Barnstormers, and etc…
The good folks at SoundLab will “hijack” FM frequency 100.1 for the 3-days event and sound tagged the building. Bring your boom-boxes, tune in and turn it up.
Afterwards, the artworks will be destroy as the building converts into a luxury condominium. So, don’t miss out on this opportunity if you’re in the New York area.
