The 2nd addition to http://nike.com” target=”_blank”>Nike‘s “Original 6″ pack celebrates the career of Mychal Thompson. Came by the way of Nassau, The Bahamas, Mychal Thompson was the number 1 pick at the 1978 NBA Draft and was a fixture on the courts until his retirement in 1991.
Again, the designers at http://nike.com” target=”_blank”>Nike centered this sneaker on his life. An upper made of cotton/jute burlap represented Thompson’s Caribbeans heritage. An accent of aquamarine, bright yellow, and black symbolized the flag of his birth place, The Bahamas. A brief of his achievements were etched at the rear part of the sneaker.
