Numerous Japanese apparel labels been picked-up and introduced by oversea media the last 3 years. Creating an enrichment of new trends and styles among the street wear cultures across the board. However, this is just the tip of an iceberg. There are still numerous established labels not yet known by people outside of Japan, such as the labels whiz and
Rebirth. Both are some of Tokyo’s most acclaimed street wear brands, that embrace unique perspectives and creativity. In turn, both labels produced
products that stand-out in rigorous and competitive Japanese street wear market.
Though managed by 2 different creative directors, both brands shared one flagship store. Located on the backstreets of Harajuku, the store, named LUMP (inherently), underwent a major renovation for its 4th anniversary this past January. Recently, Freshness had the opportunity to check out the revamp store and the new collections from both labels for the upcoming season.
