PUMA Presents: Federico Uribe – Human Nature
Made its debut first at Art Basel Miami Beach, New Yorkers now have the opportunity to see this incredible exhibition. Made by Federico Uribe, the Colombia-born artist now based in Miami Beach. The exhibition “Human Nature” feature life-size figures animals in their natural settings, including predators stalking and hunting their preys. What is astonishing is that the animals and their natural settings are made from some 700 sneakers and countless laces, all donated by PUMA.
The exhibition will open Tuesday, May 22nd, with a opening reception tomorrow, at Chelsea Art Museum. It will be on display until August 18th.
