adidas recently unveiled a project they have been working on for a while called “Cities by Artist”. This special collection is where adidas gather artists from Berlin (Beinghunted), Tokyo (NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD)), London (C-Law), Stockholm (Pontus Karlsson ) and Los Angeles (Jupiter) to create original graphic representing their city.
Will be launch at selected adidas Originals stores only in August 2007.

Tokyo – Designed by Kazuki Kuraishi of NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD)
As part of a collection of metropolitan cities by designers who live in them, this piece is by Kazuki Kuraishi of Tokyo. The designer behind the collaborations including adicolor and Taro Komodo and A Bathing Ape (BAPE) has referenced his home town by featuring the Tokyo Tower, Akira Maeda and, on the back, the 23rd districts of Tokyo.
Stockholm – Designed by Pontus Karlsson
As part of a collection of metropolitan cities by designers who live in them, this piece is by Pontus Karlsson, one of the best designers from Scandinavia: and creative director at WESC. Here, he’s presented one of Stockholm’s landmarks and twisted it to his own unique style.
Los Angeles – Designed by Jupiter
As part of a collection of metropolitan cities by designers who live in them, this piece is by Jupiter. Here, he’s used the familiar L.A landscape to evoke the character and lifestyle of this inspirational city.
Berlin – Designed by Jorg Haas of BEINGHUNTED
As part of a collection of metropolitan cities by designers who live in them, this piece is by Jorg Haas, a top German designer and godfather of style site Being-Hunted. This perspective of Berlin comes from his own room to give a new outlook on one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
