Even before we landed in Las Vegas last week, Kilo International‘s principals Kenshin and Erik, along with Nate and Linlee, been quite occupied. Along with the co-managing the trade show FOSHOFOSHOW, the team also operates the apparel label Kilo Goods. This meant they’re double duties, all the time.

For the coming seasons, Kilo Goods created the theme “Monochrome vs. Color” by printing the items into 2 colorways: black/white and color. Kilo also produced their signature bold graphic hoodies in the 2 color patterns. From graphic design standpoint, which Kilo is known for. The team was conducting an experiment with optical illusion. By doing these contrast reflections, more detailed silhouettes begin to appear, transforming what were almost identical products into complete different ones. A very interesting approach. Another note worthy item is the limited edition collaboration t-shirt with the retailer 24 KILATES, which originally available only at Barcelona. Look for these and other products at retailers like Union and Bodega in the coming months.
