New York-based jeweler Gabriel Urist collaborated again with Yokohama’s retailer, essense. To commemorate essense’s renewal opening, Urist created a special line of pendants in the form of poker cards. The inspiration came from Yokohama’s historic landmarked buildings known as “Yokohama Three Towers”, which are the Kanagawa Prefecture Hall – represented by the King, the Yokohama Customs Bureau – represented by the Queen, and the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall – represented by the Jack.
Each pendant comes in 2 different designs on its front and back. There are 3 choices in metal as well – silver, gold and pink gold. Limited to 45 pieces each, after Yokohama’s area code “045″. Photos by AKI.
