For more than 100 years, Spiewak been the official outfitter of U.S. Armed Forces, as well as countless law enforcement and first responders across the country. For the Holiday 2007 season, the storied company will be teaming up with Kidrobot to create a very special field jacket.
Utilizing the rich resources within its archive, Spiewak updated its M-43 Field Jacket, which saw action in World War II, by adding additional pocket for music player and other modern gadgets. Spiewak revamped the jacket further by adding a layer of warm Thinsulate. The outer layer was changed into a Teflon-coated, micro-fiber shell. All these features are enough to face up to the toughest urban Winters.
Kidrobot then incorporate its playful characteristics by creating colorful linings with its classic prints: purple jacket with blue Kidrobt's "robot head" pattern, black jacket with the red signature "rainbow" pattern. In addition, custom Spiewak and Kidrobot logos along with an embroidered limited edition numbers are included.
As mentioned before, the jacket will come in 2 colorways: purple and black. The purple edition will be limited to 112 units, while the black edition will be limited to 288 units. Retail for US$ 250, both scheduled to be release right before the holiday season and will be available at all Kidrobot locations as well as its online store.
