Collaboration between labels doesn’t only serve the purpose of expanding each brand’s market share and customer base. It also serve as a conduit of exchanging ideas and experimentation. something a brand generally would not do if on its own. Take for example this collaboration between Japanese retailer BEAMS and classic American work-wear manufacture Dickies.
Based of the traditional Dickies 874 model, classic fit, flat front work pants with large sturdy belt loops. With the exception that this 874 comes in Glen Plaid, a pattern more commonly associate with fine bespoke suiting than common work-wear.
