Published today on DNR, trade publication on men’s fashion, the veteran street wear label Stussy will be opening more retail locations across the U.S. Founded some 27 years ago by Shawn Stussy and Frank Sinatra Jr., the label has presences in 3 continents and 7 different countries, with a recent addition in Hawaii. According to DNR, Stussy is planning to open 3 more locations in North America: Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and Toronto. Like stores before, Stussy will tap into local retailers as partners for each new locations. For the Las Vegas store, it partnered once again with Eddie Cruz, owner of the Undefeated chain and the Stussy store in Los Angles. In Washington D.C., Stussy asked Omar Quiambao, co-founder of the Commonwealth chain, which has a third store (For the Greater Good) in the works. The Toronto location, Stussy’s first Canadian location, will be oversee by Matt George, the man behind the successful Goodfoot retail chain, as well as Ransom Clothing and Nomad.
