A fusion of ideals from 3 continents, the new label Public School is set to re-align boundaries of markets. Started by Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, both veterans of fashion industry. Public School is a celebration of interweaving styles and trends, such as a premium lambskin trench coat that can be unzipped into a cropped biker jacket. Or a fine wool cardigan layered with leather and metallic studs. Each item was based on the Fall/Winter 2008’s theme of overachievers, with a good measure of arrogance and NYC street smarts. All items will be available in the later half of this year, at retail locations such as Harvey Nichols, Barneys New York, Brooklyn Circus, and etc…
