Nike China celebrated various Chinese Nike athletes who medaled in the 1984 Olympics this past weekend at an event in Beijing, China. The event was filled with various Chinese athletes, Nike influencers, and even featured two different live bands who performed. The event displayed Nike’s strength as a global corporation and how important these Olympics and China will be to Nike’s growth strategy in the next decade. However, the highlight of the event was not the live bands, instead it was the preview of the Nike 1984 China Olympics Pack that features a variety of Nike shoes, each designed with inspiration coming from athletes who medaled in the 1984 Summer Olympics.
