According to co-founder and head honcho, Andrew Chen, 3sixteen always take on a certain sense of urgency and bleak anticipation.  Certainly the collection for Spring 2008 reflects those sentiments.  The theme of collection being “11th Hour”, as a reference to time is running out.  A total of 12 printed t-shirts and several hoodies and bottoms, the majority of the color scheme is one of black or dark gray.  Again, plays on reference of the bleakness to come.  Another important element, perhaps the most important element, to the 3sixteen crew, is the silhouette of the label’s goods.  Over the past few seasons, the design team has created a fit that is just appropriate – not too loose and yet spacious enough.  It is this signature fit, along with the details, that differentiated 3sixteen from its peers.
