As announce earlier in February, LUMP has opened a new flagship store in Harajuku district of Tokyo. The new store is larger and closer to the main through way of Jingumae Avenue. However, it was also a bittersweet moment for designer Hiroaki Shitano (下野å®æ˜Ž) and LUMP family since the new flagship meant the closing of the original one, which has been home for both whiz and the now retired label Rebirth the last 5 years. (Freshness was fortunate to visit the original flagship in 2005). To commemorate this key transitional period, whiz and design collective 7STARS created special t-shirt. Printed on the front is the interior photo of the original flagship, with a brief write-up on its history and importance to the label. These colorways are only available exclusively at LUMP branch on ZOZO shipping network.
