A new MMA organization named DREAM held its 3rd event at Saitama Super Area in Japan’s Saitama Prefecture last Sunday, May 11th. It marked an important milestone as 2 organizations from former PRIDE and K-1’s MMA division HERO’S fighting circuit joined up as one.
With a partnership with the U.S. based MMA organization, Elite XC, and the invitation of 1 of its top fighter Nick Diaz, as well as other U.S based MMA fighters, Eddie Alvarez and Jason “Mayhem” Miller. The trio displayed intensive, A-ranked skill level match-ups during the event.
And of course, our favorite fighter Caol Uno (宇野薰) exhibited a key tactical move against his opponent during the event and won by rear choke into the 2nd round. Originally, most MMA analysts counted Caol Uno (宇野薰) out as a possible winner. But the fighter turned the skepticisms into his determination to win the match with a beautiful TKO.
Our congratulation Uno! Now he advanced to semi-final rounds in June 11th at Osaka for “DREAM 5″.
