Quiksilver presents the internationally renowned “Art on Foam” exhibition in Hong Kong after its tour around the USA, Australia, Europe and Mainland China.
The “Art on Foam” exhibition, originally co-created by the Spacejunk Board Culture Art Centre and Quiksilver in 2006, will feature works by 15 international artists. Their original pieces, painted on surf boards, will be showcased at a Quiksilver Guerilla Gallery and will be launched with a special Quiksilver/Roxy SS ‘08 fashion-show party on May 23, 2008.
To celebrate the Hong Kong tour, local artists Cathlove and artist/singer Otto from EO2 have created their own piece to join the exhibition. Their “Art on Foam” creations will be exhibited alongside works from international artists including US pro-skater Andy Howell, Australian artist Peter Webb, German artist Flying Fortress, Australian musician-artist Reg Mombassa, the UK Scrawl Collective’s Mr Jago, English artist Lucy McLauchlan, French illustrator Jean Linnhoff, and American artist Randy Noborikawa.
