From record breaking auction to the ongoing retrospective of Takahashi Murakami in Brooklyn Museum, there is been an increasing interest in Asian contemporary arts from collectors in recent years. To get a feel of this ever changing genre, just visit Mizuma Art Gallery in Naka-Meguro neighborhood of Tokyo. Starting this week, the gallery is hosting Eyes and Curiosity Vol. 4, a group exhibition with recent works from 6 influential contemporary artists from Japan such as Kozue Oshima (whose work is above) and our friend, Tomokazu Matsuyama (æ¾å±±æ™ºä¸€) (f.k.a. MATZU-MTP). The exhibition opens tonight with a reception. The works will be on display until June 28th.
