Last night at an event for the release of the David Z x ASICS GT Quick, a secret collaboration was dropped as well — its on the OG colorway of the ASICS Gel Lyte III but instead of white mesh, black is used. You’ll remember our story on the ASICS Gel Lyte III OG which was available exclusively at Footlocker here in the US. This new colorway which is very similar to the OG colorway replaces a few pieces of white and replaced it with black to give it more of a New York City feel according to Ronnie Fieg who designed it. Today, both the GT Quick and the Gel Lyte III will be available online and in the David Z flag ship store — priced at $100.
