25 years ago, Japanese metal works company Yoshikin set out to redefine the professional cutlery market with the launch of GLOBAL, the first collection of knives in the world to have a fully integrated blade and handle. Today, it not only counts legions of professional chefs and cooks as devotees, but fans from an unlikely source - the design community, who appreciate the GLOBAL’s simple aesthetics and functionality.
As commemoration of GLOBAL’s 25th annivarsery, Yoshikin along with Yoshida & Co., maker of PORTER bags, created a special merchandise - a cutlery case and tote bag set. The cutlery case, which is lined with reinforced vinyl coating to prevent accidental punctures, has billets set for 3 knives and a cutting board. While the tote bag is spacious enough to accomodate the cutlery case along with other tools of cuisine. The tote also comes with a special metallic tag marking the the special 25th annviersary edition.
