In the desire to create a the toughest digital timepiece out in the market. Casio tested over 2000 prototypes before it settled on a final design, the DW-5000. And since its launch in 1983 as the first watch in the G-Shock product line. Countless new G-Shock models have appeared, all based on the tried and true technologies found on the DW-5000.
For G-Shock’s 25th anniversary, Casio collaborated with several leading retailers and designers, to have them envisioned their very own G-Shock design.
