Established in 1913 at the heart of the tenements on Lower East Side, outerwear label Schott grew quickly by innovating and meeting the market demands at the time. Innovations such as the first leather jacket with zipper and the first true leather motorcycle jacket. Later, the company would create hundreds of thousand of rugged bomber jackets in support of US military personnel in World War II.
This Fall, the 90+ year old brand from NYC created a special collection of down vest for Japanese fashion label Victim. Insulated with down feathers, the Victim x Schott Melton Wool Down Vests are constructed from dependable melton wool. The shoulder panels, where body heat lose is at its most acute, are further reinforced with leather. Pockets openings are also reinforced with leather stripes to prevent wear & tear. Soon to be available at Victims’ retailers worldwide.
