Lyons’ AM90 Current is similar the Air Max 360 he designed in terms of the brighter colors used. The upper consists of mandarin and white with just a hit of black for accents. The tongue label and heel tab feature a character illustrated by Lyons calling out the reference to ‘8′ and the 8/8/08 Olympics opening ceremony. The lining and insole also feature the character as an all over print with each calling out ‘8′ in different languages representing the variety of nations participating in the Olympics. Kevin Lyons is an artist/designer/art/director/marathoner living in Philadelphia.
