By all accounts, the current revival of long time bag manufacturer EASTPAK could attributed to one man, Belgian designer Raf Simons, when he decided to include a few mammoth size (of his own design) in his runway show last year. For this year, the talented designer, who also is the creative head at Jil Sander, collaborated with EASTPAK once again for another special collection.
Constructed from dark gray wool flannel, with large window pane pattern. The interior is lined with water resistant nylon fabric. Patches of odd imageries are sewn on haphazardly to give the bags a vintage/deconstructed facet. Comes in backpack and messenger bag styles, both are currently available at Colette.
