After its KISS BE@RBRICK, MEDICOM TOY, in conjunction with retailer BEAMS, is releasing another heavy metal inspired BE@RBRICK pack - Detroit Metal City.  A serialized manga (Japanese-style comic) since 2005, the humorous plot follows the misadventure of Soichi Negishi, an unassuming college student, who by a series of coincidences, became the lead singer of Detroit Metal City, a death metal trio.  Now, he has to balance between his private life and his wild on-stage persona.  Look for an animation and live-action adaptation to come soon.  In the meantime, the Detroit Metal City BE@RBRICK is currently available at BEAMS locations and its online branch in ZOZOTOWN shopping collective.
