Despite the threat of thunderstorm and boisterous backdrop of a Labor Day parade, around 80 shoppers queued for the grand opening of the anticipated Colette x GAP - New York City Pop-Up Store. At around 800 square feet, the floor was jammed with special products exclusive to the store and Colette in Paris. As expected, a few items were sold out within the first hour of the opening. But according to the store staff, merchandises will be replenished regularly, with some speciality products (ie: CONVERSE (Red) sneaker) to debut later in the month.
