MEDICOM TOY Tokyo Tower 50th Anniv. BE@RBRICK

Since its construction in 1958, Tokyo Tower has become a symbol known world wide, mostly through its infinite mock destruction on monster movie classics.  Though it carry a more emotional  sense of pride and renewal for the people of Tokyo after the city’s destruction in World War II

To commemorate the Tower’s 50th anniversary, MEDICOM TOY created a special BE@RBRICK for the occasion.  Comprised of clear vinyl with black tint, the figure utilized a clever technique of photo imprint to give a 3D image, an illusion that an miniature Tower was within the figure.  A crescent moon on the right ear reminds those the spectacle when they visited the Tower at night.  Via: Instinct Toy
