In the midst of politically charged season here in the US, Triumvir decidedly announced its Fall and Winter 2008 collection, titled Spoils of War. Historically, with the triumph of a new conquest comes with a replacement of the old. And in its place will sprout new organizations, cultures, and etc… Triumvir designers took hints of inspiration from the Roman Empire, whose influences still felt today some hundreds of years after its fall. And like the Empire’s history itself, the new collection separates into 2 volumes, with the focus on politics and religious makeup on the first volume seen here.
Expect the new collection to be a bridge between the contemporary men’s wear and the familiar urban streetwear: washed selvedge denim, MA-1 style diamond quilted jacket, corduroy sherpa coat, and workman’s plaid. Each added with Triumvir’s signature – the black/white plaid lining of outerwear, the PVC snakeskin label tab, plus customized rivets with a discerning message on denim.
The the Fall portion of the new collection will be launch in September 15th at Triumvir retailers. The Winter portion will be launch in November.
