XLARGE   Cotton Jersey Duffle Coat

Popularized first by the sailors of England’s Royal Navy during World War I, the duffle coat, much like its counterpart on land, the trench coat, became popular utilitarian outerwear in the 1950s.  And for its 2008 Fall Collection, XLARGE Japan will introduce its own variation of the timeless classic.  Features the same lasting construction with its signature rope and wooden (or horn) fasteners. The XLARGE Duffle Coat is compose not in the traditional melton wool but with cotton jersey instead, making it uniquely XLARGE’s design.  To retain much of the weather-proof function as the original, the cotton jersey under went Du Pont Teflon treatment.  The same performance as the melton wool original with less weight.  Priced at JP¥ 29,400 (~US$ 277), the XLARGE Duffle Coat, along with other XLARGE Fall 2008 merchandises, launch today at all XLARGE retail locations across Japan.
