Last month we told you about http://freshnessmag.com/v4/2008/09/11/kaws-saturated-show-emmanuel-perrotin-gallery/” target=”_blank”>KAWS’ first solo show in Miami at the http://galerieperrotin.com/” target=”_blank”>Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery and now we have a full review of the show and detailed photographs of all the paintings in the show. The entire show will run up until the 15th of November so if you are in need of some sun and want to see some great art then book your trip down to Miami, Florida today. The majority of the paintings that are a part of the Saturated show are KAWS’ interpretation of Spongebob Squarepants while the rest are of his interpretation of the Smurfs. Another interesting story we are just hearing is that two of the paintings at the show were http://the305.com/2008/10/03/kaws-paintings-stolen-in-wynwood/#more-2059″ target=”_blank”>stolen from the gallery this past weekend, hopefully they will be recovered soon. Special thanks to Amanda Lee for the pictures.
