home // Kiminori Morishita - Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

Kiminori Morishita men’s collection is usually a mixture of whimsical humor, satirical nerdy references and campy patchwork. He created his menswear collection in 2003 and by fault, the sleeves and pant-leg are either too short, or the prints too ephemeral. But for spring/summer 2009, it seems as though he’s put the emphasis more on the cool dude. While you can’t get rid of what makes Morishita’s collections so distinct, he’s got a consistent color palette of beiges and taupe for this collection, and there’s some hardcore street pieces that are a lot less daunting then what he normally presents (to the average man at least).
