Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck  burst into the fashion scene in 1995 with  his label ‘Wild and Lethal Trash’ and since then, he’s been non-stop of the fashion circuit. He’s known for creating a stir for his in-your-face, pungent designs that incorporates humor into S&M as well as art, literature and nature influences in his men’s collections.  If you look at his Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 Line-up, don’t be fooled by the eccentricity of the presentation. Look closer, and you’ll see there are some intricate pieces that come in a burst of vibrant colors and are tailored to perfection with symmetrical patterns and zippers.  These pieces are definitely ‘street’.
