KAWS held a private reception last night for his solo exhibition at the Gering & L ³pez Gallery in New York City. The exhibition which feature some of the most recent works by the artist, including large scale painting in acrylic, scultupres, and his newest project – 33 uniquely painted bronze sculptures, in real life size, of KAWS’ own severed head. KAWS invited some of his close friends including several celebrities in their own right for the evening including Edison Chen, Pete Wentz, Dr Romanelli, Haze and a number other a-list guests.
