The Horticultural Society of New York Presents: Block Party
To benefit its GreenHouse program, a rehabilitation and job training service for those incarcerated at Rikers Island, the largest correction facility in New York City, the Horticultural Society of New York will present a silent auction on an unique collection of original works by some of the best known artists in the contemporary art circle today, including HAZE, Shepherd Fairey, KAWS, Richard Kern, Barry McGee, Steve Powers (aka ESPO), and more. The evening, along with a cocktail reception, will be host by none other than celebrity radio host Miss Info, with live music by DJ Chairman Mao.
This special event will take place this evening at Sequoia by the East River waterfront at South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. All proceeds will be going to the support of GreenHouse program on Rikers Island
