Previewed late last year and finally debut today at Colette’s online store, the Etnies 22nd Anniversary Collection - PAS 22 VLF (Volia Les Flics), is not only a celebration of the label’s achievements, but that of a sport. The name marked the progression of skateboarding, from a make shift recreation vying for recognition to a cornerstone of alternative sports that is now. As Etnies CEO and avid skateboarder, Pierre André Senizergues, reminisced in this collection being chased out of popular skate spots by police, shouting warning calls “Volia Les Flics!” (translated as Cops Are Here!). Done in 5 wildly vivid designs, there are only 22 pairs available per design. Exclusively sold at Colette.
