The http://converse.com” target=”_blank”>Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star – Owari-Shippo Hi derived from porcelain craft with the same name. Perfected over centuries at Japan’s Aichi Prefecture (愛知県), Owari-Shippo (尾張七å®) highlights the glazing technique of “7 treasures” or Shippo (七å®). The process also creates a glass-like sheen to the porcelain’s surface, demonstrated on All-Star’s patent leather upper, segmented to common colors found on traditional Owari-Shippo porcelain. Metallic gold and silver details and piping were added, similar to the minute finishes on a Owari-Shippo piece. Comes in 2 different color sets, the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star – Owari-Shippo Hi is currently available at selected sneaker boutiques across Japan, including FLAUGE of http://zozo.jp” target=”_blank”>ZOZOTOWN shopping network.
