Moncler x Thom Browne Gamme Bleu Fall 2009

Classic European hardware fused with progressive American design, the highly anticipated Gamme Bleu Collection, the selective product line of Franco/Italian label Moncler, made its debut this week in Milan.  Designed by NYC-base Thom Browne, celebrated for his revision of American styles for men, the show opened on a backdrop of make-believe Alpine resort.  The collection spread through the simple color schemes of navy, gray, white, and black, peppered with versions of Browne’s trademarked gray flannel, including a tone-on-tone camouflage pattern.  3-button suiting, school boy shorts, full on tuxedo tails, even 3/4 leg gaiters, all filled and quilted in down insulation.  The Gamme Bleu Collection by will arrive in specialty boutiques towards the 3rd quarter of this year. via: WWD
