Last evening’s Super Bowl XLIII (43) went down as a record breaking event for its broadcaster, NBC, as the network played some 43 advertisments at an average of US$ 3 Million for each 30-second spot. But it was also a treat for Sci-Fi fans as well, not only few of the ads incorporated 3-D technology for the first time, the spots also include trailers of 2 highly anticipated films: Star Trek directed by J.J. Abrams and the next installment of Transformers Saga – Tranformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Due out on June 26th, part 2 features more actions and intensity as the plot unfolds.
