In a second collaboration between New Balance and 24 Kilates, the two companies looked to another Catalan artist Joan Miró  for inspiration on the design of the above New Balance 1500. The shoe features soft suede and rich perforated leather and a vivid color scheme similar to Miró’s art. Earlier last year, New Balance and 24 Kilates released a New Balance 1700 inspired by architect Antoni Gaudi, both are part of their Modernist Pack. 24 Kilates has announced that these will release on April 4th, 2009.
