In a second collaboration between New Balance and 24 Kilates, the two companies looked to another Catalan artist Joan Mir ³ for inspiration on the design of the above New Balance 1500. The shoe features soft suede and rich perforated leather and a vivid color scheme similar to Mir ³’s art. Earlier last year, New Balance and 24 Kilates released a New Balance 1700 inspired by architect Antoni Gaudi, both are part of their Modernist Pack. 24 Kilates has announced that these will release on April 4th, 2009.
