As several exhibition openings during this year’s Armory Week in New York City, none was as anticipated as Ryan McGinness’ Works Retrospective at http://deitch.com” target=”_blank”>Deitch Projects in SoHo. Over a thousand art enthusiasts and well-wishers rotate thorough the cavernous space, viewing the vast expanse of works. Intricate details applied on large panels, canvas, and plexi-glass forms, McGinness used the opportunity to explore methodology, from silkscreens to painting, even a repeated application of florescent paints under exposure of black lights, on display on the lower level.
The exhibition will be on display till April 18th at Deitch Projects’ 18 Wooster Street location. To coincide with the exhibition, a book of the same title by publisher http://rizzoliusa.com/” target=”_blank”>Rizzoli is currently available as well.
