DC Auto just officially launched rally car driver, Ken Block’s first TeamWorks Collection of racing gear today with an exciting infomercial, Gymkhana Two. This video follows up on the wildly popular Gymkhana Practice video which garnered the attention of 20 million viewers worldwide. Gymkhana Two features impressing auto maneuvering such as drifting and stunt driving skills at the open tarmac of Port of Los Angeles. Of course, other than a great showcasing of the auto sport of Gymkhana, the video also displays the gear from TeamWorks collection designed to honor Block for his achievements in the sport (which includes a much reported stunt of jumping his rally car in the snow with pro-snowboarders in New Zealand).
There are two sets of gear in this collection, featuring his sponsor in different colorways, the two sponsors being Monster and Subaru (which is also the maker of 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI shown in the video). Dressed in yellow, black and lime green, the collection features two pairs of sneakers, the Block Spartan Hi and Block Manteca 3, a reversible windbreaker, t-shirt, sweatshirt and hat All the design inspiration for this collection stems from the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI he drove. The print featured on the car is hand-designed by Block himself to reflect his personality and experience as an athlete.
