Salvor Projects started out as a graphic project in New York City 3 years ago, and now it has grown into a label of its own, complete with apparel and accessories line. For their new line of footwear, the Steel Toe Workboots, the good folks of Salvor Projects looked into Japanese canvas construction boots which are lighter than the ones we are used to seeing. Even though these boots are canvas, they are watertight and extremely sturdy with a steel toe (so you don’t have to worry about things falling on your toes) and an expandable tongue. The boots are fastened with Velcro strap so they can be adjusted to customized comfort. Padded foot bed and traction rubber sole also add to the functional qualities of this pair of boots. They come in both hi tops and low tops for men and women in various colorways of black and bright orange red and white– some are also dressed up in Salvor Projects prints. The solid and corrugated black colorways are now available at OAK.
