To kick start the summer festivities, New York-based creative workshop and downtown lifestyle retailer, ALIFE, will be hosting an exhibition of work by film maker/photographer, Kai Regan, as a part of the ALIFE Presents events.
Name Reckless Endangerment, this exhibition is a solo installation themed around fearlessness and rebellion. Regan conveys a belief that no one should be scared to express their anger or frustration with the status quo through a dialogue of dreation and destruction achieved through photographs and sculptures. Regan’s work will be showcased in a site-specific environment created specially for the exhibition by New York graffiti writer, Earsnot of the IRAK crew.
Along with the exhibition, there will be a large-format catalogue of Regan’s photographs, and some that are not on display. Also, a small collection of T-shirts adhereing to the Reckless Endangerment theme will be available. This exhibition not only commemorates the opening of ALIFE Presents space, but also marks the return of ALIFE into producing ALIFE art exhibits. The exhibition will be held in ALIFE NYC from Jun 11- Jul 12, so be sure to drop by and check it out.
