Another great brand that is participating in Colette’s eco-friendly project, MeWeRecycle, is Japan’s Zillion. Since the brand was founded in 2006, it had been creating its items out of recycled tissues intended for the production of kimonos. For this line of funky, Japanese- inspired shirts, the brand continues to make use of their traditional material, recycled tissues. The short-sleeved numbers each have a great traditional Japanese and modern vibe, mixing kimono prints with rock palettes of black, red and purple with fun accents and silhouettes. One of our favorties is a black printed shirt with traditional Japanese sakura motifs topped off with a bright printed tie. Just a little bit of rock and roll, and a little bit of vintage exoticism. Other than shirts, other accessories such as laces, caps and belts are also available now online at Colette.
