Last weekend was an exciting one for sneakerheads everywhere as Nike dropped the 3rd and final colorway of Nike and Kanye West collab of Air Yeezy sneakers. A total of 220+ fans and sneaker fanatics gathered together at the Nike Flagship Store at Wisma Atria on June 6th to ballot for one of the 42 pairs of Air Yeezy sneakers, as CHOEE from STREETHING hosted for the event, followed by a brief on the origination of Air Yeezy. In addition, exclusive Air Yeezy posters and Kanye West CDs were given out as prizes for trivia: questions. Winners of the ballot were able to purchase their coveted Air Yeezy sneakers from the Nike Flagship Store or The Limited Edition Vault.
As a extra reward for those die-hard fans, the first 25 lucky attendees to line up for the event were gifted a limited edition The Killer Gerbil x Air Yeezy collab t-shirts by Singapore graffiti artist, The Killer Gerbil.
