One of the top 100 most powerful women in the world, London-based architect, Zaha Hadid, is no stranger to the couture world. After collaborating with the world’s quintessential fashion house, CHANEL, to create the CHANEL Mobile Art, Hadid has fused her architectural design experience and perspective into a project with LACOSTE. Hadid’s collection of footwear for LACOSTE bears her signature fragmented perspective as she reinterprets the brand’s logo digitally. Like many of her architectural creations, the design of the shoe is very much ergonomic with an emphasis on lines and flow. These shoes for both men and women wrap around the foot to calf in an organic spiral, adapting the the person’s feet and calf. The sleek and comfortable shoes are crafted from Italian calf leather with relief printed from heated metal plates. These shoes are limited edition and available in two colorways each for men and women at Colette.
