Not to be left out, Nike also created a Air Max 1 Safari collection geared solely for Women. Feature the same hybrid construction: Air Max Air Sole Unit with the signature Safari Print. Each pattern is etched to perfection with laser, on 4 bright, flashy color palettes.

As stated before, the year Air Max 1 launch, 1987, was also the birth year of another Tinker Hatfield classic, the Nike Air Safar.  By remixing the 2 iconic footwear, Nike Sportswear was able to create a brand new hybrid of sort, the Air Max 1 Safari Print Collection, which will be introduce as part of Nike Sportswear Fall 2009 Collection in the coming months.
