Just to prove how quickly Shanghai is evolving in terms of urban culture and solidifying its status as one of the hip leading international cities in Asia, a great new store just opened two days ago on Jul 2 along the trendy Chang-Le Road. The new store, New Project Center, carries items from Nike Sportswear, STAGE, items by toy designer Michael Lau, G-Shock and a new label, Nic is Coming. On the opening night, owners Wilber Pan and Cheng Li hosted a great number of their celebrity friends such as Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai, Wyman and Michael Lau graced the event. The new Nike Air Max 1 series was also unveiled and items such as the Nike Transformers Pack and new Nike Sportswear products were also displayed and highlighted at the event. An interesting decoration to note on the walls of NPC is a large mural of a timeline detailing the evolution of Nike Air Max 1. Other than a great collection of Nike Sportswear Products, Cheng Li also announced an upcoming collaborative collection between Michael Lau and Nic is Coming. Check out the pictures below for more.
