Japanese label, WTAPS has returned for another season of collaborative capsule collection with VANS. While last season the labels designed a trio of Bash, their new collection includes two other low-cut silhouettes, Rudeez and Greaserz. Our favorite, Rudeez, has a bright blue suede upper with its designs inspired by men’s brogue shoes, and it the blue suede contrasts nicely with a white rubber toe front. The WTAPS logos are embroidered on the tongue patches of each shoe, and each shoe features some writing– for the Rudeez, text seems carved into the front midsoles; the Greaserz features the words such as “ABOVE” on the side rubbel panel; meanwhile, “WTAPS” is embroidered into the side back panel of the Bash. The collection’s color palette is a great combination of mustard yellow and blue, very in tune with WTAPS’ own design sensibility and collections.
