One of New York City’s favorite retailers, Opening Ceremony, is reversing its operations. Instead of bringing cool fashion picks from overseas back to the land of the free, the store is expanding to bring great stuff overseas. For its first overseas expansion, the retailer will be opening a large scale shop-in-shop in Tokyo with local retailer, Onward Kashiyama. Spanning over 2,300 sqm, the space set to open in Seibu Movida on Aug 30 will feature brands such as ACNE, Alexander Wang, Outsiders and of course, the retailer’s own Opening Ceremony line.
